Easy Digital Downloads

Easy Digital Downloads is a WordPress plugin for selling digital products such as e-books, papers and artwork. The IntaSend gateway lets customers pay for them with M-Pesa and card.

1. Install

Download the zip. In WP Admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload it and click Install Now.

2. Activate

Click Activate, then check that the plugin is listed under Installed Plugins.

3. Add your key

Go to Downloads → Settings → Payments, open the IntaSend settings and enter your publishable key:

  • For testing, use your sandbox key and tick test mode.
  • For live payments, use your live key and untick test mode.

4. Make IntaSend the default gateway

Under Payments, set IntaSend Gateway as the default gateway, then save.

Payments now go through IntaSend and appear in your IntaSend dashboard.
