# Payout status codes

## Batch status

| `status_code` | `status` | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| `BP101` | Reading file | Batch received |
| `BF102` | Failed reading file | The batch couldn't be parsed |
| `BP103` | Preview and approve | Waiting for [approval](https://developers.intasend.com/guides/send-money/approval-and-otp/) |
| `BP104` | Confirming balance | Approved; checking the wallet balance |
| `BF105` | Failed on low balance | Not enough funds. Top up and try again, or cancel |
| `BP108` | Processing | Processing float |
| `BP109` | Sending payment | Transactions are being sent |
| `BP110` | Processing payment | Waiting for provider results |
| `BC100` | Completed | Finished. Check each transaction's status |
| `BE111` | Cancelled | Ended early or cancelled |

> **Note**
A **completed** batch (`BC100`) can still contain failed transactions. Always check each transaction's `status_code`.

## Transaction status

| `TP102` | Payment initiated | No | Sent to the provider |
| `TP104` | Processing results | No | Waiting for the provider's result |
| `TP111` | Otp Confirmation Required | No | [Confirm the OTP](https://developers.intasend.com/guides/send-money/approval-and-otp/#otp-confirmation) |
| `TH107` | Observation | No | Under review |
| `TR109` | Retry | No | Being retried |
| `TS100` | Successful | **Yes** | Paid. `provider_reference` holds the receipt |
| `TF103` | Initiation failed | **Yes** | Couldn't be sent. See `status_description` |
| `TF105` | Failed processing results | **Yes** | The provider didn't return a result |
| `TF106` | Unsuccessful | **Yes** | The provider rejected it. See `status_description` |
| `TC108` | Cancelled | **Yes** | Cancelled |

Codes starting with `TS` mean success, `TF` failure, `TC` cancelled, and `TP`, `TH` or `TR` still in progress.
